Manager, Sales Operations

We’re looking for a people person who has amazing leadership skills, is customer service oriented and is experienced in the online marketing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join the movers and shakers in Sales and manage a team. As Manager of Sales, you will be managing the account managers, ad operations and billing teams. You will be skilled managing relations with clients in the online marketing technology industry on a day to day basis via email and skype. You will oversee as well as personally handle taking care of clients’ questions, troubleshooting issues and building strong relationships. You will also manage the updating of our advertising and information systems. You will be working closely with the CEO, and the Director of Sales to leave no stone unturned and to maximize revenues. We’re looking for a self-starter to formalize, enhance and tackle this process head on. This individual should be an enthusiastic, optimistic, fast learner and good communicator. This position is vital to the running of our operation and has great potential for growth.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day to day operations of the Account Management, Ad Ops and Billing Teams.
  • Communicate with clients via email and skype to build relationships, answer questions and to identify potential online advertising campaigns to work on.
  • Oversee updates to internal ad-server and ERP systems.
  • Oversee Ad Ops to upload, test, update and monitor campaigns.
  • Analyze the performance and profitability of advertising campaigns and drive maximum profitability.  
  • Oversee the invoicing process.
  • Reach out to new clients and close new business.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years prior experience as a team manager.
  • At least 5 years prior experience in Ad Tech Industry/ Online Marketing.
  • Pristine management & customer service skills, a real people person.
  • Great communication skills (written and oral)
  • Fluent in English, Mother Tongue Level (additional languages – an advantage)
  • Team player but required to work independently as well
  • Structure and process-oriented with great attention to detail.
  • Willing to work flexible hours as needed
  • Good level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), specifically  spreadsheets and data analysis.
  • Availability for travel abroad about twice a year.
